About our Founder
Iā€™m Samantha Rose - a visionary artist, professional storyteller, creative mentor, transpersonal art therapist, and ceremonial guide.
Creativity has woven through my life since childhood. I was always creating stories, performances, and imaginative worlds, carrying a deep longing to express myself. I come from a lineage of expressive women - my mother is a singer, my grandmother was a dancer.Ā
After studying Theatre in Australia, I found myself searching for a deeper relationship with creativity beyond the performance world. My experiences in Vision Quest Ceremony and learning alongside Aboriginal elders profoundly shaped my understanding of creativity as something relational - a living dialogue with the Earth, the unseen, and my own inner knowing.
This path led me to the UK to study with master storyteller Martin Shaw, deepening my devotion to myth, ritual, storytelling, and the Earthā€™s imagination.
The School of Visionary Arts was born from my own experience of how profoundly creativity flourishes when we are supported, witnessed, and given the space to grow.Ā
Throughout my own creative journey, I have been fortunate to have people believe in me, encourage me, and offer spaces where I could practise, experiment, and bring my work into being.
I created this School to offer that same kind of support to others as they discover their voice and bring their unique gifts into the world.
