About Your Guide
Samantha Rose is a storyteller, ceremonial guide, transpersonal art therapist and founder of the School of Sacred Creativity. For over 11 years, she has been creating and holding transformational spaces through storytelling, ritual, ceremony and the arts, exploring the relationship between creativity, the Earth and the unseen.
Her own creative path has taught her that creativity is not something we enter into relationship with, listen to and allow to emerge through us. She created the Sacred Creative Artist Residency to offer creatives the dedicated space, support and witnessing she knows can make all the difference when a creative vision is ready to come into being.
What You Will Experience
The residency is designed as a journey from receiving inspiration to bringing your creative work into form.
MORNING PRACTICE
Each day will begin by gathering in held practice, deepening our relationship with the Earth, the unseen realms and our own creative expression. These mornings are an invitation to listen, receive and reconnect with the deeper sources of inspiration seeking to move through us.
CREATIVE EXPLORATION
The afternoons open into spacious, unstructured time dedicated to your own creative project - time to write, make, experiment, refine and follow the thread of what wants to emerge.
CREATIVE COMMUNITY
Throughout the week, you will be held within an intimate community of creatives who understand both the vulnerability and the joy of bringing something new into being.
WITNESS & CELEBRATE
We will close the residency with a sharing circle, where each participant will have the opportunity to share their work and creative process with the group - a moment to be witnessed, honoured and celebrated for what has emerged during the week.
